JCP represented a long time industrial manufacturing client in the renewal of their lease for 80,000 square feet of manufacturing space located in the Airport Industrial Park in Virginia Beach. This client owns and leases multiple large spaces in Virginia Beach and has been a client of JCP for over twenty years.

JCP represented an investor in the purchase of a free-standing 8,000 square foot Family Dollar store located outside of Richmond Virginia.  The investor is a multiple time repeat client of JCP.

JCP represented the investment partners in the sale of a 10,200 square foot free-standing industrial building with a fenced yard area located near the Norfolk Industrial Park in Norfolk.  The investment partners sold the building to a local company for their corporate headquarters and warehouse.

JCP represented a 20,000 square foot industrial distribution tenant in the search and negotiations for their new warehouse located in the Harbour View industrial area in Suffolk.  The tenant has multiple distribution locations across the United States and needed a location near the Port for their operations.

JCP represented the owners in the renewal of a 16,000 square foot lease for a free standing industrial property located on Central Drive in the Lynnhaven area of Virginia Beach.  The tenant is an out-of-state distribution company that sells their products on-line and to wholesale operations.

JCP represented the investment partners that sold a 13,785 square foot multi-tenant industrial investment property located in the Oceana Industrial Park in Virginia Beach.  At the time the property was 100% leased and was sold to a private investor.

JCP represented the sellers for the sale of a 6,849 square foot industrial building located in Norfolk, near the Norfolk Industrial Park. This building was a contractor’s office and warehouse with a fenced yard and the buyer is using the property for their business.

JCP represented a private investor for the sale of a former Dollar General store located in Moyock, North Carolina.  This 9,100 square foot building was sold to O’Reilly’s Automotive Stores for a new location in Moyock.  This seller is a repeat client.

JCP represented a private investor in the sale of a dual tenant 20,683 square foot retail investment property located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This property had both a Family Dollar store and an Advance Auto store with long term leases in place. This investor is a repeat client.

JCP represented the sellers for the sale of a freestanding office building located on Pleasure House Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This 2,590 square foot architectural gem is a single occupant building originally built by a construction company for their corporate offices.  The buyer will use the property for a private medical practice.  The seller is a repeat client of JCP.

JCP represented a private investor for the purchase of a Family Dollar store located in Virgilina, Virginia.  This 8,320 square foot building was leased to Family Dollar on a long term lease and purchased from a California investor through a 1031 tax deferred exchange. The capitalization rate for the purchaser was over 8%.  This purchaser is a repeat client.

JCP represented a private investor for the purchase of a Dollar General store located in Moyock, North Carolina.  This 9,100 square foot building was leased to Dollar General on a long term lease and was purchased from a private investor in Chicago, Illinois.  This purchaser is a repeat client.

JCP represented a private partnership in the disposition of a sixteen unit apartment complex located in Norfolk, Virginia. This 9,100 square foot complex was fully leased and sold to a local Virginia investor.  The partnership was liquidating assets and is a repeat client.

JCP represented an international manufacturing company in the leasing of 50,000 square feet of industrial space to be converted to high tech manufacturing located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  JCP subsequently expanded their leased space by 30,000 square feet for a total of 80,000 square feet on a long term lease. Jonathan Commercial Properties has represented this client for many years for both property sales and leasing.

JCP assisted an out of state brokerage company with a national tenant representation transaction for a long term lease of medical space in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Jonathan Commercial Properties acted as the Virginia representative, providing market data and brokerage services. This national brokerage company is a repeat client.

JCP represented a private investor in the renegotiation of a long term single tenant lease for a 16,200 square foot industrial property located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. JCP also handles the asset management for this investor and he is a long term client.

JCP represented a private investor in the purchase of a dual tenant 20,683 square foot retail investment property located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This property had both a Family Dollar store and an Advance Auto store with long term leases in place. This investor is a repeat client.

JCP represented an investment partnership in the disposition sale of a multi-tenant office condominium located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This condominium was vacant when JCP took over the listing.  JCP leased the property to two tenants and then subsequently sold the property to one of the new tenants as an investment property.

JCP represented a private investor in the sale of an industrial office building located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. JCP had previously handled the long term leasing for this property and when the purchaser expressed an interest in purchasing the property JCP was able to structure a seller financed deal that allowed the seller to maintain their desired cash flow, yet not have the responsibility of ownership. This was a win-win for a long term client and the purchaser.

JCP represented a private investor client in leasing their retail / office facility located in Virginia Beach, Virginia to a medical user on a long term lease. The new tenant made a significant investment in their own buildout and building improvements.  The medical tenant subsequently expanded into addition space in the building and extended their lease term.

JCP represented a private investor client in the leasing of 14,000 square feet of warehouse space to a national distribution tenant located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This long term lease included multiple renewal options.

JCP represented a private investor client in leasing 26,200 square feet of showroom warehouse to a national distribution tenant in Chesapeake, Virginia. This tenant contributed substantially to their interior improvements and signed a long term lease.

JCP represented a local manufacturing client in the relocation and leasing of 14,000 square feet for their new headquarters and operations facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This lease included substantial buildout improvements provided by the landlord.

JCP represented an investment partnership in the lease up and then subsequent sale of an 11,000 square foot multi-tenant office warehouse building located in Chesapeake, Virginia. The tenant JCP placed in the property ended up being the purchaser.  This investment partnership is a repeat client.

JCP provided tenant representation services for the leasing of 47,500 square feet of warehouse space for a national warehousing company in the Copeland Industrial Park in Newport News, Virginia.  This warehousing company provides third party logistics and warehousing services and this new location is an expansion of their existing operations located nearby in Hampton, Virginia.

JCP provided tenant representation services for a regional construction supply company for the renewal and extension of their 12,000 square foot leased space at Bayside Road in the Airport Industrial Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This tenant has been a long term client.

JCP provided tenant representation and construction project management services for a 5,000 square foot 24 hour Emergency Veterinary Clinic and Specialty Practice Center located in the Harbour View section of Suffolk, Virginia.  JCP coordinated the planning, design, demolition and construction for this new facility. This emergency center is now open and provides much needed emergency care as well as surgical and cardiology specialty services to the Harbour View area.

JCP represented Verizon and sold 4,075 square feet of office warehouse building on 2 acres located on the Eastern Shore in Eastville, Virginia.  Jonathan Commercial Properties, working with USI Real Estate, represented the property owner Verizon Virginia in the sale of this property.  The purchaser was a private investor from Virginia Beach.

JCP represented Verizon and sold 25,412 square foot of office and warehouse buildings on 6.69 acres located in Norfolk, Virginia.  Jonathan Commercial Properties, working with USI Real Estate, represented the property owner Verizon Virginia in the sale of this property to a company headquartered in Maryland.  The property was used to expand the purchaser’s operations in the Norfolk area.

JCP represented Verizon and sub-leased 22,126 square feet of Class A office space occupying the entire third floor of Lake Center II, in the Battlefield Corporate Park, Chesapeake, Virginia.  Jonathan Commercial Properties, working with USI Real Estate, represented the tenant Verizon Virginia in handling the four year sub-lease transaction.  The sub-lease tenant moved their corporate headquarters to this new Class A location.

JCP represented a private investor client and leased 9,750 square feet to PPG Architectural Finishes at Kelland Drive in Interstate Park in Chesapeake, Virginia.  PPG made a substantial investment in the facility for their long term lease. This new location will serve as the local hub for PPG’s architectural, commercial and marine coatings paint supply operations.

JCP represented a private investment partnership and leased 7,235 square feet to Bon Secours Healthcare at Northgate Commerce Parkway in Northgate Commerce Park in Suffolk, Virginia.  Bon Secours utilizes this site for their Information Technology Division.

JCP represented Mas Tec North America in leasing 12,000 square feet at Miller Store Road in the Airport Industrial Park in Virginia Beach.  This location serves as the hub for installations for Direct TV service and installations throughout Hampton Roads.  JCP worked in partnership with NAI Mertz out of New Jersey to represent Mas Tec North America.

JCP represented Flower’s Baking Company in their lease renewal for 9,480 square feet at Middleground Boulevard in Oyster Point Industrial Park in Newport News, Virginia.  This is a distribution operation for Flower’s Baking and JCP worked in partnership with ICORE Commercial out of Atlanta to represent Flower’s Baking in this transaction.

JCP represented a private investor client and renewed the lease for First Choice in-home Care for 7,335 square feet in the Interstate Park complex in Chesapeake, Virginia.  This location is the corporate headquarters for First Choice’s regional operations that provides medical equipment to patients located throughout the entire Hampton Roads area.

JCP represented a private investor client and leased 14,950 square feet to Prism Maritime at Kelland Drive in Interstate Park in Chesapeake, Virginia.  This location serves as the headquarters for Prism Maritime on the east coast providing consulting, program management, installation and technical services to the US Department of Defense.

JCP represented a private client investor in leasing 14,950 square feet to Johnstone Supply at Arrowhead Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This location is a showroom, office and warehouse operation for Johnstone Supply’s HVAC parts and equipment business.

JCP represented a private client investor in leasing 18,400 square feet to Lyon Conklin HVAC at Kelland Drive in Chesapeake, Virginia for a showroom and warehouse. Lyon Conklin is a division of Ferguson Enterprises that supplies HVAC equipment and parts throughout the region.

JCP represented the purchaser in buying 6,420 square feet of multi-tenant office warehouse at Air Rail Avenue in the Airport Industrial Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This transaction was an owner occupied / investment for the purchaser.

JCP represented an investment partnership in purchasing a multi-building 16,000 square feet distribution warehouse at Arkansas Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia in a sale lease-back transaction.  The existing seller needed to continue to occupy the property until they could build a new facility which eventually took several years to complete. The buildings were subsequently leased to multiple tenants.

JCP represented the seller in the sale of 6,250 square feet of a medical office building at Digges Road in Manassas, Virginia to Schuyler Dental Properties.

JCP represented the purchaser in acquiring 81,400 square feet of distribution warehouse at 2505 Aviator Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The Purchaser is a government contractor in the logistics and supply business.

JCP represented the purchaser in acquiring 7.148 acres of industrial land at Aviator Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the development of an 80,000 square foot distribution center. The Purchaser is a government contractor in the logistics and supply business.

JCP represented the purchaser in acquiring 10.48 acres of retail and industrial land on Route 168 in Moyock, North Carolina for 84 Lumber Company.

JCP represented an investment partnership in leasing 11,200 square feet at Wyoming Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia to Outlaws Rod and Custom on a long term lease.

JCP represented an investment partnership in acquiring 45,109 square feet of industrial buildings on Wyoming Avenue in Norfolk as a multi-tenant leased investment. JCP oversaw the renovation of the property into multiple leasable units.

JCP represented the seller in the disposition of 20,800 square feet of flex space at Squadron Court in Virginia Beach, Virginia to 5040 Sadler Place LLC as a leased investment. This transaction included a master lease provision as a protection for the purchaser.
